DIMMER STAR: DAY 7

A machine approaches to destroy sacred wilderness. Seven warriors stand alone to defend it. But before they can try, a brotherhood of assassins emerges from distant memory to stand in their path. Our heroes must reconcile the past with the present in order to work together to stop the deadly warriors before they can destroy the forest and its people.

This story unfolds in another world, full of strange technologies, death cults, magic herbs. Wizards, warrior-poets, sword-fighters – and of course the classic hero on their hero’s journey.  DIMMER STAR: DAY 7 pulls inspiration from the wild, ground-breaking fantasy films of the 80s. The dark fantasy of Jim Henson injected with steampunk and grime.

 The project was crowdsourced  for $28,000 and shot across the state of Tennessee, utilizing its beautiful and varied state parks and archeological sites. Dozens of artists from the Nashville area came together to bring this, the first glimpse at the DIMMER STAR universe.
